As part of the OpenSpace development team, the Software Engineer will be a valuable contributor to a web-based full-stack Agile Development Team with responsibilities that include: Develops, troubleshoots, and debugs software programs for enhancements and new products. Develops unit-level tests that ensure work product is of high quality Authors software documentation for both internal and customer use Reviews peer contributions as part of code reviews

Required Experience:

5+ years of relevant programming experience Software development in Java and realtime and/or multi-threaded systems General knowledge with Docker, and Kubernetes a plus Experience with RESTful services Experience with websockets a plus Experience with web-based technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) Build pipeline automation and packaging using tools such as Bamboo General cloud knowledge with AWS or Azure Familiarity with working in a SAFe Agile environment using Atlassian suite of tools such as Jira and Confluence or other similar collaboration tools Preferred Skills and Experience Expert software development experience in Java, C, and C++ Experience with multi-threaded or realtime applications Experience with QuestDB Experience developing unit tests with tools such as SonarQube or other code coverage tools Expert knowledge with Docker, Kubernetes, and Rancher Secure software development experience and implementation of best practices Experience with Satellite Command and Control systems #LI-Hybrid Competitive salary based on experience and education Kratos is valued for our ability to design and deliver leading edge, resilient solutions for aerospace communication, control, awareness and mission success across a continuum of offeringsifrom commercial to tailored custom solutions and integrated programs.
