• Be part of project design decisions with mechanical engineers and management.
• Able to read and modify electrical prints to implement changes.
• Developing PLC programs using Ladder Logic/Function Block.
• Experience with one or more of the following programming languages (STL, SCL, G-code, Visual Basic, C/C++).
• Experience with one or more of the following Software, Siemens Step 7, Starter, WinCC Flexible 2008, TIA Portal, Sinumerik 840D, Allen Bradley Studio 5000, Factory Talk Studio, Botch/Rexroth IndraWorks.
• Understanding of industrial network communications - Ethernet IP, Profinet, Profibus, Canbus, Arcnet, RS232, RS485.
• Coordinate and review project design decisions with Hardware engineering.
• Experience with communication network design such as Ethernet IP, Profibus, Profinet, Canbus.
• Knowledge of motion control devices such as servo motors and controllers.
• Assist Project Management to maintain customer contact through meetings and presentations.
• Must be willing to work extended hours within customer production environment or in office.

• Must be willing and able to travel domestically and internationally as needed per project up to 40% travel. Required Skills and Education
• Associates or bachelor's in electrical engineering or other relevant areas such as computer science, or 7+ years in related experience.

Work Environment / Physical Demands Work is primarily performed in an office setting with standard equipment and conditions. Employees will be exposed to the plant environment, including noise, machinery, and temperature variations. This role may require light physical activity such as walking, standing, or lifting up to 20 lbs. following all applicable safety procedures and PPE requirements when in plant areas.
