Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Summer Intern to join our Mobile Robots team and contribute to the advancement of autonomous navigation technologies. In this role, you will research and implement pioneering SLAM (Simultaneous Localization and Mapping) algorithm improvements using Rust, C++ and Python, and test and validate solutions on real autonomous guided vehicles (AGVs). You will collaborate closely with engineering teams to prepare algorithm enhancements for production use, while detailing experimental results and presenting findings to technical collaborators. This internship offers hands on experience with real robotic platforms, advanced autonomy algorithms, and applied research in an environment focused on real-world application.

The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $19.00 - $23.00 per hour at the time of posting. Looking For:
CS, Robotics, or Engineering student (3.0+ GPA) with strong C++, Python, or Rust skills. Experience with ROS2 (Robot Operating System) is highly preferred. Academic or project background in autonomous systems, SLAM, or computer vision. #
