ROLE OVERVIEW
The Senior Solution Architect will support manufacturing and digital technology initiatives across Insight Global client's global manufacturing footprint. This individual will work with plant IT, OT teams, infrastructure, cybersecurity, engineering, vendors, and business stakeholders to understand proposed solutions and create end-to-end architecture designs that align with Tenneco standards. The primary objective is translating complex manufacturing technology requirements into clear, implementable solution architectures and technical documentation.DAY TO DAY
Lead discovery sessions with manufacturing stakeholders, plant teams, and vendors Analyze new applications, manufacturing technologies, and digital initiatives Create high-level and detailed solution architecture diagrams Define integrations, data flows, APIs, connectivity requirements, and system dependencies Design architectures spanning cloud, on-prem infrastructure, OT environments, edge devices, and enterprise platforms Evaluate vendor solutions and identify architecture gaps, risks, assumptions, and constraints Work with cybersecurity, IAM, networking, and infrastructure teams on solution design Support manufacturing technologies including MES, plant systems, robotics, IoT, edge computing, and analytics platforms Present architecture recommendations to Enterprise Architecture and Architecture Review Boards Maintain architecture documentation throughout the solution lifecycle Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages while on contract for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
