Baseline salary ranging from $75,000 to $125,000 (adjusting based on technical expertise), with an uncapped commission structure, vehicle/travel allowance, and comprehensive corporate benefits.
Territory & Field Travel:
SE Minnesota regional territory. Enjoy a high level of autonomy in this field role, with regular daily driving for in-person client engineering consultations.

Engineering Scope:
Engage in technical B2B account strategy, water chemistry evaluation, boiler/cooling tower operations, fluid mechanics, custom chemical delivery system design, and executing capital sales.
Strict Requirements:
Candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents (Green Card holders); possess a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Chemical, or Environmental); and have at least 3 years of experience in technical B2B sales or consultative engineering. Supported by top-notch training and a skilled technical service team, you will balance acquiring new business with nurturing key accounts, providing tailored automated solutions to plant managers and engineering leaders. What You Will Be Doing (Daily Responsibilities)
Drive Territory Strategy:
Serve as the main technical consultant and Territory Manager across SE Minnesota, focusing on both acquiring new accounts and retaining high-value ones.
Deliver Consultative Engineering Solutions:
Conduct technical assessments at manufacturing plants, food/beverage facilities, and industrial sites with high- and low-pressure water systems.
Analyze Water Chemistry & System Specs:
Evaluate water chemistry factors, fluid dynamics, and process restrictions to design customized, automated chemical and treatment systems.
Engage Plant Leadership:
Collaborate directly with facility managers and chief engineers to engineer mechanical upgrades, fluid control systems, and chemical treatment plans.
Manage Full Sales Cycle:
Lead complex enterprise sales cycles, from technical prospecting and proposal development to executive presentations, closing deals, and growing accounts.
Execute Daily Field Travel:
Maintain an organized schedule for on-site engineering reviews through SE Minnesota. Collaborate with
Internal Teams:
Work closely with internal application staff to optimize custom equipment configurations for challenging field applications. What We Are Looking For (Requirements & Qualifications)
Engineering Degree:
Must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Environmental Engineering). Technical B2B Sales /
Applications Experience:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical B2B sales or consultative engineering, handling complex capital equipment or industrial process control solutions.
Industrial Domain Depth:
Solid understanding of industrial water treatment chemistry, boilers, cooling towers, pumps, or fluid handling systems.
Commercial Track Record:
Proven track record of meeting or exceeding technical sales targets and growing territory revenue.
Territory & Travel Discipline:
Ability and willingness to manage a regional footprint with consistent daily field travel.
Location & Authorization:
Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder living within a convenient 55-minute daily driving radius of the Rochester, MN area. Preferred Technical Assets (Bonus Skills)
Market Familiarity:
Existing commercial relationships or familiarity with industrial manufacturing plants in SE Minnesota.
Water Chemistry Credentials:
Certified Water Technologist (CWT) certification or specialized training in industrial water management.
Process Automation Literacy:
Exposure to automated dosing pumps, chemical feed controllers, and online monitoring telemetry.
