Job Description

The Impact You Will Make As the End-User Solutions Engineer, it will be your responsibility to ensure all IT managed end-user solutions (desktops, cloud PCs, virtual machine environments, handheld devices, conference room equipment, display boards among other technologies) remain current, secure and continue to meet stakeholder requirements. This includes functional requirements, security requirements, performance requirements and compliance requirements, among others. You will also be responsible for Endpoint Management solutions, Microsoft Endpoint Manager and HCL BigFix, including day-to-day management and system maintenance. This role will also include site support activities of End User account and hardware troubleshooting, onboarding and offboarding. Role Responsibilities Deploy and manage endpoint solutions such as Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune), HCL Bigfix, or similar tools. Engineer and implement core end-user platform capabilities and transition those capabilities to operations teams. Serve as the first point of escalation for all end-user-related support incidents for assigned site. Assist in the deployment of endpoint security management, patching, application deployments and configurations for endpoint devices. Partner with IT Cybersecurity to gather information security and protection requirements and design in security from the start Design and implement centralized, enterprise management capabilities capable of maintaining the qualified state for installed computing infrastructure with minimal business disruptions Document solutions you design in a way that makes the transition to an operational state and to a support team seamless Act as the point of contact for all Level 1 - 3 computer and system related issues at the site. Provide remote and onsite support to end users for computer systems, software, hardware, and peripherals. Perform hardware/software moves, changes, additions, and upgrades. Install and configure computer systems and applications within the company. Coordinate procurement, build and delivery for site end-user equipment. Maintain Audio-Visual infrastructure at assigned site. Ensure A/V equipment stays current and sustain relationships with senior site leaders to understand the needs around conference room equipment. Basic Qualifications 3+ years of experience Administrating Microsoft Azure Active Directory, Azure Exchange, Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Microsoft SharePoint, and Microsoft OneDrive. 3+ years of experience in Windows Endpoint troubleshooting and management: SCCM / MECM, Intune / Microsoft Endpoint Manager, imaging / OS deployment tools, GPO / policy management, Autopilot, HCL BigFix or similar provisioning. 3+ years of proven experience in a heavy customer focus position involving support and technical knowledge of end user computing environments. Knowledge and experience supporting networked environments including wired, wireless, VPN, TCP/IP protocol, routing concepts and basic networking such as DHCP, DNS, etc. Knowledge and experience supporting Windows and desktop peripherals. Excellent organization and ticket documentation skills. Knowledge and experience supporting networked and stand-alone printers. Working knowledge with remote support tools. Time-management skills and the ability to establish reasonable and attainable deadlines for resolution. Comfortable working in and assisting others through company help desk software, in addition to other remote access desktop programs. Extensive experience working with different operating systems including Windows and Mac OS. Professional written and interpersonal skills are essential when communicating with customers and clients. CompTIA A+ Certification Preferred. ITIL Certification Preferred. Experience installing and configuring computer systems and applications for a Laboratory and Manufacturing company Preferred.
