Job Description
The Kansas City Mavericks are looking for a driven and enthusiastic intern to join our team during the 2026 - 2027 season. The ideal candidate will have a professional demeanor with the ability to communicate clearly with supervisors at all levels (both internally and externally) and take pride in all work completed. The individual needs to be detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task, and meet demanding deadlines. Individual must also have the ability to work independently, take initiative, provide solutions, and make informed decisions. Essential Duties Provide production and operational support to the Director - In-Game Operations during all Mavericks home games, test CO2 cannons, prep in-game elements, assist with promotional table setup and needs Assist in in-game promotions, intermission activities, ceremonies, performances, on-ice experiences, etc. Act as a liaison between Director - In-Game Operations and talent, fans, and honorees for live entertainment features and activities that occur throughout the game Responsible for ensuring that all pregame, in-game, and post-game presentation elements occur promptly at their pre-designated time and locations and are executed accurately Find and secure contestants as required, escort talent and guests around arena as needed Learn and train on video board equipment (Daktronics, Display Audio) Other roles and responsibilities may be required Qualifications Current college student (undergraduate or graduate). Must be able to receive course credit.
