Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Full Stack Java Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC; Pennington, NJ; or the Dallas Metro, TX area. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java-based backend development, modern front-end technologies like Angular, system integrations, and CI/CD deployment practices. Experience in financial service environments is highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

Develop, implement, and maintain existing Java technologies (Spring Boot, Spring framework)

Collaborate with business and other team members to translate requirements into scalable software

Build and enhance client-facing user interfaces using the Angular tech stack

Design solutions and build reusableponents using design patterns

Handle application performance tuning, troubleshooting, and production support

Ad to coding standards and contribute to peer code reviews

Document technical specifications and deployment instructions

Requirements:

• 9+ years of experience in enterprise application development
• Strong experience with Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, and Spring framework
• Knowledge of Angular to build user interfaces
• Good knowledge of REST web services
• Basic knowledge of SQL queries

Desired skills:

Strongmunication skills (oral and written)

Exposure to the banking domain, specifically treasury or payment systems

Working knowledge of defect management processes and risk frameworks

Experience with databases/data warehouses and deriving insights from raw data

Ability to organize and manage multiplepeting tasks in a fast-paced environment

Experience with an onshore/offshore model

Pay range: $45.85 - $53.85 per hour
