Java MuleSoft Developer

SKILLS- Minimum 10 years of experience into Java and Mulesoft Job Summary We are seeking a highly experienced Senior MuleSoft Developer/Integration Architect with 10+ years of IT experience, including extensive expertise in MuleSoft, Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, API-led Connectivity, and Enterprise Integration within the Banking and Financial Services (BFSI) domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing scalable integration solutions, modernizing legacy systems, creating enterprise APIs, and delivering mission-critical banking applications. The role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, architects, and development teams to build secure, high-performing, and resilient integration platforms. Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop enterprise integration solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
  • Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java 8/11/17, Spring Boot, and related frameworks.
  • Define and implement API-led architecture across Experience, Process, and System layers.
  • Build reusable integration components, connectors, and shared services.
  • Integrate banking applications with internal and external systems using REST, SOAP, JMS, MQ, Kafka, and event-driven architectures.
  • Participate in architecture discussions and recommend best practices for integration and API management.
  • Lead migration initiatives from legacy ESB platforms to MuleSoft or Spring Boot-based services.
  • Implement security standards such as OAuth 2.0, JWT, OAuth Client Credentials, SAML, SSL/TLS, and API Gateway policies.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or similar tools.
  • Perform code reviews, design reviews, and mentor junior developers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide support for critical banking applications.
  • Ensure solutions comply with banking security, audit, and regulatory requirements.
