Job Description
[About the Role] Join a cutting-edge technology team as a Developer App MidLevel in Florham Park, NJ (3 days onsite). You'll play a pivotal role in designing and building scalable, enterprise-level SaaS applications using the latest Java technologies and AI-driven tools. Collaborate with global teams, drive innovation, and help shape the future of robust business solutions. [Responsibilities]
- Architect and develop services to solve complex business challenges and deliver high-impact solutions
- Research, prototype, and recommend adoption of new technologies to enhance client experience
- Lead the design, development, and modification of enterprise-wide systems and applications
- Ensure smooth deployment of application software releases to production and non-production environments
- Uphold code quality standards, maintain application stability, and champion best engineering practices
- Collaborate with architects, product owners, UX/UI, and stakeholders to ensure compliance with client requirements
- Develop project plans, analyze deliverables, and manage multiple priorities with agility
- Mentor team members in code quality, TDD, and automated unit testing methodologies
- Create specifications for new products, applications, and service offerings [Required Skills and Experience]
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with Java 17+, Spring 6, and JPA
- 5+ years of expertise in PostGreSQL, Oracle (PL/SQL), stored procedures, and performance tuning
- Proven track record in large-scale SaaS application development using Spring Framework, Hibernate, WebSphere or Tomcat
- Solid experience in RESTful and microservices API-driven development
- Proficiency with Docker and continuous delivery/DevOps deployment tools
- Strong background in CI/CD, automated testing, and JUnit
- Familiarity with Rally, Jira, GitHub, or Jenkins for development and project management
- Hands-on usage of AI tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot) to enhance development workflows [Preferred Skills]
- Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies in distributed team settings
