Job Description
Description Permanent position for a Software Applications Developer to design, build, test, and maintain software applications for pharmaceutical systems. Translate functional needs into working code, ensures applications run reliably, and provide updates. Maintain product software and system architecture. Evaluate proposed revisions, software development, version control, and notification of design revisions. Prepare, maintain, evaluate, issue, and approve technical documentation for process automation. Provide support to the departmental staff to develop and deliver solutions for automation issues. Resolve field problems. Develop new automation technology (software and hardware) for integration into our existing automation products. Requirements BS Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent. Minimum 5 years of experience designing and maintaining software applications. Knowledge of PLC, SCADA, reporting tools, and database software and hardware platforms. Experience with pharmaceutical industry platforms, including Rockwell, AVEVA, Microsoft SQL, etc. Experience using the .NET framework and Microsoft Visual Studio. Experience with WPF (Windows Presentation Foundation) is preferred. Experience with integrated automation, information systems, and network design for pharmaceutical process controls. Experience with Linux operating system configuration and command line instructions. Ability to develop, test, and roll out new automation solutions.
