Application Programmer#26-09919 Pennington, NJ Plano, TX Charlotte, NC Hybrid Contract Starts 11/02/2026 Ends 11/01/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Database Modeler / Developer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX, Pennington, NJ or Charlotte, NC. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role will support enterprise application development, data integration, and cloud transformation initiatives by designing and maintaining logical and physical data models. The ideal candidate will develop high-performance database solutions using Oracle and PostgreSQL, ensuring data integrity and security for mission-critical applications while working closely with developers, architects, and business analysts.

Responsibilities:

Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models Define entities, relationships, keys, constraints, and data standards Create and maintain ER diagrams and data dictionaries Support data governance and metadata management initiatives Review application requirements and translate them into data models Design and develop database schemas, tables, views, indexes, stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers Developplex SQL queries and performance-optimized database solutions Perform data validation, reconciliation, and data quality assessments Support application development teams with database design and implementation

Requirements:

8+ years of database development experience 5+ years of data modeling experience Experience supporting large enterprise applications Experience working in Agile delivery environments Strong expertise in Oracle 12c/19c or higher and PostgreSQL Proficiency with data modeling tools such as ERwin, ER/Studio, or SQL Developer Data Modeler Advanced skills in SQL, PL/SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Packages Desired skills: Experience with SQL Server Banking or Financial Services industry experience Experience with MongoDB, Kafka, and REST APIs Knowledge of Data Warehousing and Data Lakes Understanding of KYC, AML, Client Onboarding, or regulatory applications Experience supporting cloud migration programs Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
