Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Kingston, New York and help build reliable, secure, and scalable software solutions. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, integration, and ongoing support of custom applications across internal and cloud-based environments. You will work closely with analysts, product stakeholders, and cross-functional technical teams to deliver practical solutions that balance business needs, technical feasibility, and long-term maintainability.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, enhance, and support custom applications and system integrations with a focus on performance, security, scalability, and maintainability.
  • Partner with business analysts and stakeholders to shape solution designs, define technical specifications, and evaluate integration approaches.
  • Contribute to project teams delivering software across internal platforms and cloud-based services, ensuring consistent progress through iterative releases.
  • Build shared components, reusable services, and development frameworks that improve efficiency and standardization across the engineering team.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional application teams to create proof-of-concept solutions and translate ideas into production-ready software.
  • Participate in the deployment, monitoring, and ongoing maintenance of production applications to support stable business operations.
  • Work with engineering leadership, product owners, and project managers to help plan roadmaps and prioritize development work effectively.
  • Apply coding standards, development best practices, and architectural patterns while providing technical guidance to other team members.
