Job Description

We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a collaborative technology team in Kingston, New York. This role focuses on building, enhancing, and supporting business-critical applications and integrations across internal platforms and cloud-based environments. The ideal candidate will contribute throughout the software lifecycle while helping shape scalable solutions that balance performance, security, maintainability, and long-term value.
Responsibilities:
  • Build, enhance, and support custom software applications and system integrations used across the organization.
  • Collaborate with analysts, product stakeholders, and project teams to translate business needs into practical technical solutions.
  • Design and deliver reusable components, shared services, and development frameworks that improve consistency across engineering efforts.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to create prototypes, validate ideas, and implement production-ready solutions.
  • Contribute to the release, operation, and ongoing support of applications in live environments.
  • Help plan iterative delivery schedules and align development work with roadmap priorities and business objectives.
  • Apply established coding practices, architectural standards, and development methodologies to produce reliable, secure, and maintainable software.
  • Provide technical guidance by supporting architecture decisions, encouraging sound design patterns, and mentoring peers when needed.
