Position Summary:

The Sales and Applications Engineer supports our growing sales and design efforts to develop custom heat transfer solutions.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Provides technical sales support to clients with detailed layouts and cost analysis. Provides engineering department support by generating accurate designs utilizing heat exchanger software, ASME Code software or other methods. Assists in development of accurate engineering specifications for design and/or procurement of subsystems, components, and engineering services. Assists in development of written proposals, instructions, manuals, and other documentation that may be distributed to customers or internal users. Assists design engineering with the development of schematics or drawings. Reviews documents such as customer design specifications and requests to determine feasibility of design and applicability. Generates cost estimates, quotations and perform the necessary follow-up activities to facilitate new business.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills, and Education:

BS in Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or Mechanical/Chemical Engineering Technology. Minimum 2 years related work experience in related industry. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and sales proposals. Proven record of accomplishment in generating innovative and practical ideas. Team player with innovative ideas and attention to detail.
