• The Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) team at Bloomberg is building the next generation of internal platforms that power our global workforce.

We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer with deep Workday expertise to help evolve and scale our Workday HCM ecosystem—driving high-impact solutions used across the company. This is a hands-on engineering role where you'll design and build integrations, develop Extend applications, and partner closely with business partners to deliver solutions that directly influence how Bloomberg operates.

• Design, build, and maintain Workday integrations and Extend applications that support critical HR processes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
• Own end-to-end delivery—from design and development to deployment and optimization
• Drive innovation by incorporating AI and automation into ERP workflows and processes

• 5+ years of experience as a Workday developer
• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience. We'd love to see:
• Experience with PeopleSoft Payroll, Application Designer, App Engine, SQR, Peoplecode, Integration Broker, BI Publisher, SQL
• Strong expertise in Workday Studio, Extend, EIB, Report Writer, Calculated Fields, and Connectors
• Solid experience with integration technologies (REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSLT)
• Background in systems engineering, specifically enterprise application development
• Strong understanding of HR systems and business processes
• Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• A proactive, ownership-driven mindset with a focus on delivering results
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Python, and Linux Salary Range = 160,000 - 210,000 USD Annual + Benefits + Bonus The referenced salary range is based on the Company's good faith belief at the time of posting.
