This role offers an exciting opportunity to drive the design, integration, and optimization of advanced vehicle leveling solutions that enhance safety, comfort, and performance. As an integral part of our engineering leadership, you will oversee cross-disciplinary projects, foster a culture of continuous improvement, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, reliable products. Your expertise will help shape the future of intelligent vehicle systems by leveraging your deep knowledge in embedded software, sensor integration, and algorithm development. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end development of vehicle leveling systems, including hardware design, firmware programming, and software integration. Manage a team of engineers specializing in embedded software, signal processing, algorithm design, and hardware development to meet project milestones. Oversee the design and testing of PCB layouts, firmware, and embedded software for sensor calibration and control algorithms. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop system architecture using UML diagrams and content management tools like Confluence. Drive innovation by integrating technologies such as FPGA for real-time processing, machine learning for adaptive control, and IoT protocols like Zigbee for connectivity. Ensure compliance with industry standards by implementing rigorous software testing procedures including unit testing, test automation, and debugging practices. Maintain project documentation using Agile methodologies with tools like Jira and version control systems such as GitHub or SVN. Optimize system performance through signal processing techniques, network monitoring (TCP/IP), and database management with MySQL or Microsoft SQL Server. Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing data from big data platforms and applying insights to enhance system robustness. Promote a safety-first approach by adhering to best practices in firmware development, hardware troubleshooting, and software quality assurance. Experience Proven experience leading engineering teams in the development of vehicle or automotive systems with a focus on leveling or suspension technologies. Extensive background in embedded software development using languages such as C/C++, Python, JavaScript, Objective-C, Visual Basic, and scripting languages like Bash or Perl. Strong familiarity with hardware components including sensors, PCB design, soldering techniques, and OS kernels relevant to automotive applications. Hands-on experience with FPGA programming, signal processing algorithms, machine learning models, and quantum engineering principles is highly desirable. Demonstrated expertise in network protocols (TCP/IP, Ethernet), wireless communication standards (Zigbee), and IoT platforms like Raspberry Pi or similar devices. Knowledge of cloud services such as AWS or Azure for data analytics and system deployment; experience with Simulink for simulation is a plus. Proficiency in database management systems including MySQL and Microsoft SQL Server; experience with RESTful APIs for system integration is essential. Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile/Scrum; experience using tools like Jira, Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines is preferred. Strong analysis skills combined with excellent problem-solving abilities to troubleshoot complex embedded systems issues efficiently. Educational background in electrical engineering, computer engineering or related fields; advanced certifications in FPGA design or automotive systems are advantageous.
