2988837685-2 Apply for this job now Job Description TD Synnex is seeking a Prep Desk Specialist to support software deployment and configuration in a fast-paced IT environment. You will prepare systems and environments for client projects, perform software installations and updates, validate builds against specifications, and document setup procedures. Working closely with engineers and project managers, you'll troubleshoot technical issues, track tickets, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery. Our collaborative culture supports continuous learning, so you'll expand your technical skills while contributing to innovative, high-impact technology solutions for clients. Responsibilities Prepare and configure software environments and systems for client projects Install, update, and validate software builds against technical specifications Troubleshoot and resolve setup and configuration issues Collaborate with engineers and project managers to meet delivery timelines Document configuration steps, issues, and resolutions for repeatability Maintain ticketing records and status updates for assigned tasks Follow security and compliance best practices during prep activities Assist with testing and basic quality checks on prepared environments Required Skills Software deployment and configuration Windows and/or Linux administration basics Scripting or automation (e.g., Power Shell, Bash) Ticketing systems (e.g., Jira, Service Now) Version control familiarity (e.g., Git) Technical documentation Basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN) Troubleshooting and root-cause analysis Quality assurance and validation procedures Security and compliance best practices awareness
