PayLynxs is hiring a Senior Data Integration Engineer to join our team in Portland, Oregon! Description We are looking for a hands-on Senior DevOps Engineer to be part of our DevOps team, with a primary focus on ETL development, automation, third party integrations , and client onboarding scalability . This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building, coding, and solving complex ETL and workflow challenges to drive operational improvements . Responsibilities Design, build, and optimize FTP and ETL jobs for ingesting data from a variety of core banking systems Help to accelerate onboarding for new clients. Suggest ideas to improve and refactor existing ETL processes for performance, reliability, and scalability Design and develop data loading monitoring dashboard, logging and alerting for internal and external users. Key Qualifications Attention to detail Motivation to automate everything Attention to documenting processes Leadership qualities to mentor others Experience 6+ years in DevOps, Data Integration Engineering, or related roles Strong hands-on experience building batch or API related integrations and ETL processing. Experience working with complex or inconsistent data sources (financial data a plus) Technical Skills Advanced experience with Pentaho Jobs and Transforms Experience with Python Linux system administration skills Enough knowledge of Java to maintain spring boot modules Mysql or Mariadb SQL experience Experience with handling ETL tasks on very large datasets Knowledge of Apache Hop What Sets You Apart You enjoy solving messy data problems and making them scalable You appreciate the value of insight, monitoring and dashboard reports to external users to streamline visibility into the data loading process You think in systems and automation—not one-off solutions You are hands-on and love building Compensation Competitive salary commensurate with experience, technical expertise, and leadership capabilities.
