15+ years of experience in Mainframe application development with strong expertise in COBOL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM . Design, develop, enhance, and maintain enterprise COBOL applications supporting critical business processes. Develop and maintain CICS online applications , including transaction processing, program integration, and production support. Design and optimize DB2 programs, SQL queries, stored procedures, and database interactions within mainframe applications. Develop and maintain VSAM files , including file structures, access methods, data processing, and troubleshooting. Analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable mainframe application solutions . Perform application debugging, production support, root-cause analysis, and resolution of complex mainframe issues. Develop and maintain JCL and batch processing jobs , including job scheduling, execution, monitoring, and troubleshooting. Collaborate with business analysts, architects, QA teams, and other technology teams throughout the SDLC , including code reviews, testing, implementation, and releases. Experience with SAS is highly preferred, along with strong communication, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills in enterprise mainframe environments.
