With a comprehensive in-house machine shop and extensive fabrication capabilities, we deliver innovative solutions tailored to diverse industrial needs. Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Applications Engineer to join our team and drive technical excellence in our product offerings. In this role, you will be at the forefront of technical sales and pre-sales activities, providing expert guidance on our automation solutions. Your energetic approach will help showcase our products through engaging demos, support project management efforts, and collaborate closely with clients to develop tailored systems that meet their unique requirements. Key Responsibilities Review customer RFQs and technical specifications. Develop machine and system concepts to meet customer requirements. Communicate with customers regarding samples, layouts, and technical clarifications. Provide technical support during quotation, design, and manufacturing phases. Prepare equipment cost estimates and supporting documentation. Create technical proposals, layouts, and functional descriptions. Coordinate customer visits, reviews, and acceptance testing. Support project execution through collaboration with internal departments. Maintain accurate project documentation and change records. Assist with installation, startup, and troubleshooting as needed. Qualifications Associate degree or higher in Engineering Technology, Drafting, or a related technical field, with formal training in technical drawing and SolidWorks. Experience in applications, projects, and/or systems design. Strong mechanical aptitude. Familiar with or able to learn industrial equipment, including: Power transmission components, including gearboxes, motors, gears, pulleys, sprockets, and chains Pneumatic and hydraulic cylinders, valves, and control circuits Electrical sensors, relays, and safety controls PLCs, HMIs, and servo controls Machining and metal fabrication processes Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project, or equivalent tools). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to present technical information to individuals and small groups. Willingness to travel up to 15% to customer sites. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
