Application Programmer#26-04894 Charlotte, NC Plano, TX Jersey City, NJ 40% Remote Contract Starts 6/15/2026 Ends 6/14/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking an Application Programmer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC, Jersey City, NJ or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role involves working with Teradata and ETL technologies for AML (Anti-Money Laundering) application initiatives. The candidate will be responsible for refining the data model for customer and account data by sourcing, developing, and managing future enhancements.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and clarify reporting needs Analyze data sources, data structures, and business rules required to support reporting Design, develop, and optimize Teradata SQL and BTEQ scripts Build and maintain ETL/ELT logic within Teradata Create and manage tables, views, macros, and stored procedures Tune queries for performance (AMP usage, indexing, partitioning) Support production jobs and troubleshoot data issues Conduct detailed validation and functional testing of reports against requirements Perform root-cause analysis for discrepancies and ensure data integrity Prepare deployment packages and follow proper change management processes Publish and schedule reports in the production environment Ensure proper access controls, documentation, and post-deployment validation

Requirements:
