Not available Position Overview We are seeking a Cybersecurity Architect to design, implement, and oversee security solutions across enterprise IT and operational technology environments. This is a hands-on architecture role within a manufacturing organization, with an initial emphasis on securing plants, industrial equipment, production networks, and legacy systems. The ideal candidate can dive deeply into the security stack, explain previous architecture decisions using detailed real-world examples, and communicate effectively with engineers, business leaders, and senior management. Key Responsibilities Architect cybersecurity solutions across IT and manufacturing OT environments. Secure
ICS/SCADA
systems, PLCs, HMIs, industrial equipment, and plant networks. Design network segmentation, access-control lists, firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, and Zero Trust solutions. Evaluate network communication patterns and restrict manufacturing equipment to approved systems and services. Develop security architecture standards, diagrams, documentation, and technical roadmaps. Evaluate and deploy SIEM, EDR, IAM, DLP, DSPM, vulnerability-management, and threat-detection technologies. Manage web application firewalls and certificate lifecycle and automation processes. Perform threat hunting, security assessments, incident response, and forensic investigations. Lead security initiatives from architecture and planning through implementation. Partner with infrastructure, application, manufacturing, engineering, and business teams. Present security metrics, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership. Mentor analysts and junior security professionals. Support security projects involving plant expansions, relocations, and technology modernization. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Four to seven years of progressive cybersecurity experience. At least two years of experience securing OT, ICS, industrial, or manufacturing environments. Direct experience within a manufacturing organization. Strong understanding of PLCs, HMIs, SCADA systems, industrial networks, and legacy operating systems. Experience with network segmentation, firewalls, NAC, IDS/IPS, vulnerability management, and Zero Trust architecture. Ability to discuss security designs, technical decisions, implementation challenges, and measurable outcomes in detail. Experience leading security initiatives and coordinating cross-functional technical projects. Strong written, verbal, and executive-level presentation skills. Must qualify as a U.S. person. Preferred Experience Forescout, including NAC and OT visibility capabilities. Trend Micro Vision One or similar EDR/XDR platforms. SIEM and high-volume security monitoring environments. Certificate lifecycle management and certificate automation. Web application firewalls. Industrial protocols such as Modbus, OPC UA, or
DNP3. NIST, ISO 27001, SOC
