Job Description DevOps Developer Location:
Gaithersburg, MD Job Type:
Hybrid (3 days/week onsite)
Description:
Our client is seeking a DevOps Developer with at least 2 years of experience to support software development and deployment processes. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in automation, cloud infrastructure, and CI/CD pipelines.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, testing, and deployments Manage cloud infrastructure using tools such as AWS, Azure, or GCP Implement infrastructure as code using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation Automate provisioning and configuration of servers and applications Monitor system performance and implement solutions to improve efficiency Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices Ensure security and compliance in all DevOps processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field At least 2 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps Proficiency in scripting languages (Bash, Python, PowerShell) Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Strong understanding of agile methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Computer Science or related field Experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, CloudFormation) Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, New Relic) Experience with security tools and practices Certifications such as
