Job Description
## The group you'll be a part of In the Global Products Group, we are dedicated to excellence in the design and engineering of Lam's etch and deposition products. We drive innovation to ensure our cutting-edge solutions are helping to solve the biggest challenges in the semiconductor industry. ## The impact you'll make Engineering Supervisor II is responsible for developing and leading teams in a high-tech production environment, including coordination and alignment of resources to meet Lam's safety, production and organizational objectives. Supervisors are expected to demonstrate Lam's core values through professional conduct and a dedication to honesty and integrity. In addition to safety and production objectives, Supervisors are responsible for employee development, employee performance, and corrective actions, as well as collaboration with Engineering Management, Hardware and Software Engineers, LIGHT, Product Management, MFE, GPS, GOPS, Order Fullfillment, Process, Eng Services, Corp Quality, SET, Supply Chain, CE, CE!, KAT, Sales Ops and others. Strategic responsibilities include managing special projects, continuous improvement activities and organizational alignment to Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). ## What you'll do
- Define and manage programs and projects, continuous improvement activities and performance to KPIs.
- Assign resources and activities.
- Collaborates with leadership team on organizational staffing.
- Manage employee performance by documenting, coaching, and communicating desired behaviors; work with management and HR to suggest corrective action; establish goals, assess annual performance and meet in person to discuss.
- Complete direct report performance reviews, create development plans and conduct regular one on ones. ## Who we're looking for
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent with 2-4 years of supervisory experience.
- Requires ability to work and lead a team having a very large and diverse number of ownership areas.
- Ability to flex quickly and efficiently to business requirements, and to lead a team to do the same, with minimal churn.
- Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate in a team environment.
