Onsite Manager Scope:

Own substation projects from early development through construction and commissioning What You'll Do Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to identify, develop, and secure substation sites; gather data and permits necessary to engineer and build the substation. Provide training, due diligence, and technical oversight of external Engineers of Record (EOR) to ensure alignment with generation interconnection agreements, SOWs, project specifications, site-specific requirements, and all relevant standards (IEEE, NESC, ASCE, and other industry codes). Represent E&C interests and enable cross-functional success; deliver progress updates, articulate issues, and outline risk mitigations to multiple management levels. Support Transmission Services in reviewing interconnection documentation—system impact, facility, reactive, and harmonic studies, plus interconnection agreements—ensuring Transmission Owner requirements and E&C engineering design are consistent, ISO-compliant, and embedded in the design. Assist ISC with SOW creation, reviews, approvals, and preparation of shopping carts for engineering services and materials. What You Bring Bachelor's in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil/Structural Engineering (preferred) 7+ years in high-voltage substation design/engineering (helpful) Experience in Project Engineering/Project Management; PMP or P.E. in a related field (helpful) Our Safety Pledge Safety is our guiding principle—always.
