DUTIES:
System Software:
Review, evaluate, install, and test system software updates. Tailor system software to maximize hardware functionality. Investigate, coordinate, and resolve system service issues. Prepare and maintain operational documentation and advise on effective use of system software.
Systems Design:
Design and review complex systems using appropriate standards, methods, and tools. Ensure effective integration of multiple systems and technologies. Evaluate major design options, conduct impact analysis, and manage associated risks. Balance functional, performance, security, service quality, and system management requirements. Recommend architectures, structures, and tools aligned with business needs, target environments, and existing systems. Produce technical visualizations for stakeholder approval and development execution.
Portfolio Management:
Lead project managers and technical leads in adherence to portfolio management processes, timelines, and governance standards. Produce portfolio status and governance reports and recommend improvements to portfolio frameworks.
Business Process Improvement:
Analyze business processes, identify alternative solutions, assess feasibility, and recommend improvements. Support change initiatives by defining requirements for implementing process improvements.
Information Management:
Develop and maintain policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliance with applicable legislation. Assess internal and external information assets to support business decision-making and system enhancements. Provide expert guidance on information management, collaborative working practices, and information-related risk. Maintain inventories of regulated information assets and manage required regulatory registrations and notifications.
Relationship Management:
Assess stakeholder communication needs and develop engagement and communication plans. Act as a primary point of contact, facilitate discussions between stakeholders, manage issues and complaints, and drive resolution strategies.
Technology Architecture & Development Support:
Research, evaluate, select, and implement frontend and middleware (backend-for-frontend) technology stacks, frameworks, and tooling, including automated quality control, packaging, deployment, and scaffolding. Design systems for scalability, resiliency, extensibility, usability, consistency, and security.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
Partner with business teams during project discovery to guide technically feasible solutions aligned with timelines and device requirements. Collaborate with system architects on integration strategies and with API teams to design services optimized for web and mobile applications.
Engineering Enablement:
Establish initial project structures to enable efficient feature development. Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD integration. Work with performance teams to identify and remediate codebase performance issues. Partner with project leads to define design solutions and patterns implemented by development teams.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any), or related. Five (5) years in any occupation with development experience, or related. Five (5) years in any occupation with development experience, or related must include: Five (5) years of experience on Web and UI technologies and developing successful products.
Experience must also include:
Scalable NodeJS based micro-services with orchestration; Experience in at least one JavaScript framework such as Backbone, Ember or Angular or React JS; SCSS, CSS3, and HTML5; Experience debugging JavaScript and CSS; Modern, mobile, and legacy browsers (responsive UI); Experience with at least one unit testing tool such as Mocha, Jasmine, or Junit and at least one end-to-end testing tool such as Selenium, Nightwatch or Protractor; Integrated web applications with APIs, and authentication and authorization (basic, OAuth, or SAML); Web application security practices (XSS/clickjacking); Experience developing browser extensions or plugins to enable additional functionality on the browser and to integrate with native OS/platforms; and Experience with JAVA and its usage in modern web application development.

SALARY :
$181,792 - $182,792 per year
