Job Description

MVP Disc Sports is seeking a detail-oriented Junior ERP Developer to support and improve our ERP system and related business processes. This position is ideal for an early-career developer, ERP professional, or technically minded candidate with an interest in accounting, inventory, manufacturing, and business operations. The Junior ERP Developer will work across departments to troubleshoot system issues, create reports and workflows, support users, and assist with technical and process improvements. This role is not limited to writing code. The person in this position will learn how purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, warehouse operations, sales, order fulfillment, and accounting work together within the ERP system. The goal is to understand the business need behind a problem and help develop a practical system solution. NetSuite experience is preferred but not required. Candidates with experience using other ERP systems, accounting software, databases, or business applications are encouraged to apply. This is a full-time, in-house position. Remote, hybrid, contract, project-based, and 1099 arrangements will not be considered. Responsibilities Assist with developing and maintaining ERP scripts, workflows, forms, saved searches, dashboards, reports, and automations. Support ERP configuration, customization, testing, updates, integrations, and routine system maintenance. Troubleshoot system errors, data issues, and user-reported concerns. Work with employees across departments to understand system needs, process gaps, and reporting requirements. Learn how transactions flow through the ERP system and affect inventory, operations, and accounting. Help identify inefficient, repetitive, or error-prone processes and develop practical system improvements. Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and key performance indicators. Assist with data cleanup, imports, exports, and correcting inaccurate or incomplete information. Provide day-to-day ERP support and assist with employee training. Create and maintain system instructions, technical documentation, and records of system changes. Assist with maintaining user accounts, roles, permissions, and system access. Coordinate with outside consultants when additional technical support is needed. Qualifications Associate degree, bachelor's degree, technical certification, or equivalent education and experience in software development, information technology, accounting systems, business systems, data analysis, or a related field. Foundational experience with programming, scripting, databases, ERP systems, accounting software, or other business applications. Familiarity with JavaScript, SQL, APIs, or similar technologies. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and willingness to investigate how processes work. Interest in learning how inventory, manufacturing, purchasing, sales, fulfillment, and accounting connect within an ERP system. Ability to understand how a system change may affect multiple departments. Clear written and verbal communication skills. Ability to document technical work and explain system processes clearly. Ability to manage multiple assignments, accept feedback, and continue developing technical and business knowledge. Ability to maintain confidentiality when working with financial, operational, employee, or other sensitive information. Ability to work onsite in Marlette, Michigan, Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Preferred Qualifications Experience using or supporting NetSuite or another cloud-based ERP platform. Familiarity with NetSuite workflows, saved searches, SuiteScript, or SuiteAnalytics. Basic understanding of accounting transactions, inventory activity, or financial reporting. Experience with manufacturing, purchasing, inventory, warehouse operations, e-commerce, or order fulfillment. Experience creating reports, dashboards, automations, scripts, or integrations.

$26.00 per hour
