Optum Bank supports HSA accounts at scale, while modernizing a large, transaction heavy banking ecosystem. You will be apart of standing up new lending capabilities and transforming legacy systems into a more scalable, real time, microservices based platform to support significant growth in accounts and financial products. Primary Responsibilities:

Predict emerging customer needs and develop innovative solutions to meet them Solve unique and complex problems with broad impact on the business Attend and contribute to all Scrum ceremonies Lead large, complex projects to achieve key business objectives Translate highly complex concepts in ways that can be understood by a variety of audiences Influence senior leadership to adopt new ideas, products, and/or approaches Deploy and maintain Applications/Systems You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 15+ years of experience with the System Development Life Cycle 10+ years of software development experience with .NET and/or Microsoft stack development tools 5+ years of experience with SQL Server, including native SQL, stored procedures, functions including optimization 5+ years of experience working with CI/CD tools such as Azure Dev Ops or similar Ability to function as a mentor for junior developers, providing assistance where needed Proven delivery of complex software solutions impacting multiple lines of business

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in financial services or banking industry Experience with Kubernetes, terraform and Microservices infrastructure Experience with Agile development using Scrum or Kanban Full stack development experience Public Cloud experience UnitedHealth Group work experience •All employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter Policy. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The salary for this role will range from $112,700 to $193,200 annually based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
