full-time Akkodis is seeking Python Developer for a Contract job with a client in Jersey City, NJ & Pennington, NJ

• Hybrid (3 days on site in a Week) .

Ideally looking for applicants with a solid background in the banking/financial services industry.

Pay Range:

$68

• $73/hour
• All Inclusive; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Must Have:

Python + GenAI/LLM Fixed Income / Global Markets / Capital Markets / Equities Backend/API/Microservices Financial Regulatory/Surveillance background Strong Coding Project /

Business Overview:

Team focuses on global markets and supervisory/audit functions. Work centers on regulatory market misconduct from a financial perspective. The organization has a globally used application built internally. The application supports hundreds of users across multiple lines of business, including: Fixed Income Equities Key initiatives include: Operational excellence Regulatory initiatives (including SIAI) MRAs flow through the application, and the team is building new features to ensure compliance. The team is experiencing growth and has funding to address regulatory and operational priorities. Opportunities span both front-end and back-end development.

Highest priorities:

Strong Python development skills. Experience with Generative AI . Full-stack experience preferred; front-end expertise is a plus. Strong technical abilities demonstrated during whiteboard sessions . Financial services background is beneficial. Candidates should be able to clearly articulate the work they've done and their technical contributions.
