What You'll Do We're looking for an engineer who likes solving hard problems, not just writing code. You'll combine software engineering + quantitative analysis + financial logic + AI to build production systems supporting complex mortgage and financial operations. You'll get to: Build production-grade software and expert systems Turn complex business knowledge and decision-making into automated system logic Work with large financial and mortgage servicing datasets Build SQL-based systems, ETL pipelines, APIs, and automated workflows Apply optimization, simulation, statistical modeling, and operations research Develop solutions involving cash flow, financial models, risk, reconciliation, and exception management Automate processes that currently require significant manual analysis Build systems designed for accuracy, validation, traceability, and auditability Work directly with developers, operations teams, financial professionals, and subject matter experts Help enhance and expand PMSI's proprietary Q™ technology platform The role includes building expert systems that integrate rules-based logic, quantitative models, and decision-support algorithms into PMSI's technology platforms.
