This posting is anticipated to close on May 8th, 2026 This position is open to senior levels of experience. Entry-level candidates are not eligible. This is a full-time position based on a 37.5-hour work week. The starting annual salary is between $ 118, 853
  • $183,113 based on the level of previous experience. In addition, hired applicants will be eligible for the company's annual variable incentive paid based on company performance. This role is open to full-time remote work, or hybrid onsite in our Lincoln, RI office . Our normal business hours are 8am
  • 5pm Eastern Time .
Rotational off-hours support required. This role does not currently offer employment visa sponsorship.
Position Summary:
Our Lincoln, RI office is seeking a Senior/Lead Software Engineer who is an out-of-the-box thinker to drive the technical vision and execution of our Salesforce ecosystem. This role is ideal for a seasoned Salesforce expert who thrives in architecting enterprise-grade solutions, mentoring development teams, and leveraging the full potential of Salesforce technologies to transform how we serve our customers in the insurance industry. You will serve as a technical leader and mentor within the Enterprise Salesforce Program, shaping strategic initiatives and delivering cutting-edge solutions across Agentforce, Financial Services Cloud, and Data Cloud, while integrating emerging capabilities like Service Cloud Voice and Marketing Cloud Engagement. This role requires a blend of deep platform expertise, architectural vision, and leadership to elevate our Salesforce practice.
Responsibilities:
Technical Leadership & Architecture Define, document, and enforce technical standards, patterns, and best practices to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing Salesforce solutions. Lead technical design sessions, code reviews, and architectural governance to maintain consistency and quality across all implementations. Evaluate and implement architecture approaches that maximize reuse, flexibility, and long-term maintainability. Mentorship & Team Development Act as a mentor and coach for Salesforce junior engineers, developers, and admins, raising the technical bar and fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation. Provide technical guidance on design reviews, code quality, and performance optimization. Innovation & Ecosystem Expertise Stay current with Salesforce's newest products, releases, acquisitions, and AppExchange solutions to bring forward innovative approaches and tools. Evaluate new Salesforce technologies (e.g., Data Cloud, AI features, Agentforce) and lead proof-of-concept initiatives. Collaboration & Delivery Partner with cross-functional IT and business teams to align technical solutions with business outcomes. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for Salesforce-related initiatives and production support escalations. Drive alignment on solution design and delivery across multiple portfolios and teams. Governance & Quality Establish and enforce technical standards, documentation practices, and reusable component libraries. Review and refine detailed technical specifications and oversee their execution to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery. May be called upon to handle other duties as required.
Requirements:
Bachelors degree and 7+ years development experience or, an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with proven success as a Lead Developer, Technical Architect, or similar leadership role.
Extensive hands-on experience with:
Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Agentforce, Service Cloud Voice, and Data Cloud. Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and complex
REST API
integrations. Experience with Marketing Cloud Engagement and Mobile Studio is a plus. Experience with AWS capabilities as it pertains to integrating with the Salesforce ecosystem is a plus. Strong architectural and integration expertise in multi-cloud or highly integrated and complex Salesforce environments. Multiple Advanced Salesforce Certifications (e.g., CTA, Application Architect, System Architect) strongly preferred. Proven leadership, mentoring, and coaching experience within high-performing Salesforce teams. Familiarity with the insurance or financial services industry is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate technical trade-offs and influence stakeholders.
