Job Description

At Taazaa Working at Taazaa involves engaging with cutting-edge technology and innovative software solutions in a collaborative environment. We emphasize continuous professional growth through workshops and training. Our employees often interact with clients to tailor solutions to business needs, working on diverse projects across industries. We promote work-life balance with flexible hours and remote work options, fostering a supportive and inclusive culture. Competitive salaries, health benefits, and various perks further enhance the work experience. 1. About the Role We build and deliver software for clients who expect working systems, not slideware. This role sits within a delivery squad, you own features end to end, from shaping the specification through to production, and you do it with AI coding agents as a standard part of how you work. We're not looking for someone who has simply used Copilot. We're looking for an engineer who has changed how they build because of these tools: writing specifications an agent can execute against, reviewing generated code with real rigor, and knowing when to stop delegating and write it yourself. You should be language-agnostic by nature. Most of our work is in .NET, Node.js, or Java, but the engineer we want treats the runtime as an implementation detail and picks up whatever the engagement requires. 2. What You'll Do Own delivery of features and services end to end
  • design, build, test, deploy, and support.
Work directly with clients and product stakeholders to turn ambiguous requirements into specifications precise enough to build against. Use AI coding agents as a primary tool: decompose work into agent-executable units, drive them through implementation, and hold the output to the same review standards as human-written code. Contribute to and improve our Spec-Driven Development practice
  • the specifications, prompts, agent configurations, and review checkpoints the whole team relies on.
Review peers' code and agent-assisted output; raise design concerns early rather than at merge time.
Operate in Agile delivery:
sprint planning, estimation, standups, demos, and retrospectives
  • with real participation, not just attendance.
Diagnose and fix production issues, including in code you didn't write. Mentor mid-level engineers on both engineering fundamentals and effective use of AI coding agents. 3. What We're Looking For 3.1 Required 6+ years building and shipping production software. Deep hands-on strength in at least one of .NET / C#, Node.js / TypeScript, or Java with a genuine willingness to work outside it. Demonstrated fluency with AI coding agents in real delivery work (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, or equivalent)
  • not experimentation, but shipped outcomes. Solid grasp of API design and testing practices. Proficiency with RDBMS (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle) or NoSQL stores (MongoDB, DynamoDB, Cosmos DB)
  • including schema and data modeling, query performance, and knowing which fits the problem. Real Agile experience in a team that actually practices it. Cloud experience on at least one major platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP). Strong written and verbal communication
  • you'll be working directly with clients.
Authorized to work in the US without sponsorship. 3.2 Strongly Preferred Frontend capability (React, Angular, or Vue) sufficient to own a feature across the full stack. Familiarity with Spec-Driven Development or a comparable specification-first workflow. Experience across more than one language or runtime in production. CI/CD, containers, and infrastructure-as-code exposure. Consulting or client-facing delivery background. 3.3 Nice to Have Built internal tooling, agent skills, or automation that other engineers adopted. Experience with LLM application patterns
  • RAG, evals, tool calling.
Domain exposure in healthcare, financial services, or retail/e-commerce. 4. Benefits Health, vision, dental, and life insurance 401(k) with employer matching Paid time off
