Senior Full Stack Developer - Node.js / React /

AWS Location:

Chesterfield, MO - Hybrid, 3 days onsite

Through early 2027 with potential for extension We are seeking a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a highly collaborative development team supporting modern, cloud-based applications. This position is heavily focused on Node.js and TypeScript backend development , with React on the front end and AWS supporting a distributed, event-driven architecture. This is a strong opportunity for a senior developer who understands not only individual technologies, but also system design and how multiple application components interact within a distributed environment . Key Responsibilities Design and develop backend services using Node.js and TypeScript Develop modern front-end applications using React Build and support scalable REST APIs Work within an AWS cloud environment , including technologies such as Lambda, S3, SQS, SNS and Step Functions Work with Kafka and other event-driven technologies Design and work with PostgreSQL databases Participate in system design and architecture discussions Troubleshoot and solve complex application and integration issues Partner closely with product and business teams to understand requirements and develop effective solutions Participate in an Agile, product-oriented development environment Qualifications Strong professional experience with Node.js, TypeScript and JavaScript Full-stack development experience with React Experience developing and supporting applications in AWS Experience with PostgreSQL Strong understanding of microservices, distributed systems and event-driven architecture Experience designing and developing REST APIs Ability to understand and explain how different components interact across an application Strong problem-solving and communication skills Comfortable working collaboratively with both technical and business teams The interview process will include a coding exercise focused on logical problem solving and thought process , along with discussion around system design and technical experience. W2 candidates only. No C2C.

Pay:

$75.00 - $85.00 per hour
