Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking a Senior Java Developer - Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Pennington, NJ. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

This role involves the design, development, and maintenance of middle-tier services and client-facing web applications. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Java development and a background in .NET, ing the latest technologies to solve business requirements and provide strategic technical direction. This position requires a hybrid schedule with a minimum of 3 days onsite per week.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, enhance, test, support, maintain and debug Middle tier services as well as client facing Web applications

Utilize latest development technologies to solve for business requirements

Provide strategic technical direction and system architecture for individual initiatives and technology stack

Represent technical team in SDLC for Agile project methodologies

Collaborate with external programming teams to deliver software on time and within budget

Monitor and enhance the stability and performance of the existing applications

Requirements:

• 5 to 7 years of IT experience as a Java Developer
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills for software design and development
• Ability to learn and new concepts quickly
• Prior .NET and .NET Core experience
• Experience with Co-Pilot
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies
• Pay range: $58.26 - $66.26 per hour
