• Full-time Job Description We are hiring an experienced Software Developer to join our team!

We are currently looking for experienced developers to tackle a wide variety of projects aimed at making the rest of the company more efficient through automations, integrations, and streamlined procedures. Our developers are encouraged to use modern coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, etc.), traditional tools such as Visual Studio, or any combination. As AI tools become more capable, we encourage their use, but we expect you to have the ability to solve problems without them if needed. We value critical thinking and a positive attitude over experience. We ask that you bring your sharp wit, curiosity and ability to help the department and company grow even faster. Key Responsibilities Partner with department leaders to analyze workflows and streamline processes. Build and enhance integrations between internal applications and third-party services. Develop plugins, standalone applications, and intranet sites. Leverage the latest tools and offerings from Microsoft Azure. Qualifications Professional hands-on development experience. Working knowledge of the Microsoft stack: C#, ASP.NET, Azure services (Functions, SQL, Communication Services), SQL Server, and PowerShell. Experience prompting and directing AI coding tools (Claude Code, Codex, Cursor); ability to craft clear prompts, evaluate output quality, and iterate toward production-ready results. Ability to work carefully with AI-generated code for correctness and security. (You realize that AI tools greatly enhance the development experience but are mindful of the pitfalls.) Some familiarity with observability tools, such as Application Insights, Splunk, etc. Additional Requirements Successful completion of a technical assessment prior to final interview. Chicagoland area candidates strongly preferred. Although this can be mostly a remote position, we would like to see you regularly. Experience with Encompass (the Loan Origination System from ICE), SharePoint or Power BI is a plus.
