This role offers the opportunity to work on mission-focused programs within a collaborative Agile environment, developing innovative solutions that address complex technical challenges. The ideal candidate is a motivated software engineer with experience building and supporting enterprise applications, integrating modern technologies, and working across multidisciplinary teams. This position follows a hybrid schedule requiring a minimum of three days onsite per week in Northern Virginia. Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain enterprise software applications
• Analyze business and technical requirements to create effective software solutions
• Evaluate system requirements and determine technical feasibility of proposed approaches
• Support the modernization and enhancement of existing applications and services
• Develop automation and scripting solutions to improve operational efficiency
• Create and maintain system architecture, integration, and data flow documentation
• Participate in Agile development activities including sprint planning, backlog refinement, and status reporting
• Troubleshoot software issues and implement sustainable solutions
• Collaborate with engineering teams, stakeholders, and end users to deliver high-quality capabilities
• Present technical updates and recommendations to both technical and non-technical audiences Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Active Secret Security Clearance
• Ability to obtain a TS/SCI security clearance and successfully complete a CI Polygraph
• 3+ years of experience designing, developing, deploying, and supporting enterprise software systems
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, and JavaScript
• Experience maintaining and enhancing existing software applications
• Experience with DevSecOps tools and processes, including platforms such as GitLab and Jira
• Experience developing architecture diagrams, system designs, and data flow documentation
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies such as Kubernetes or OpenShift
• Experience working within Linux environments and developing scripts
• Experience working in Agile development environments
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and evolving mission requirements
• Ability to travel occasionally within the United States (less than 10%) Preferred Qualifications
• Active Top Secret Clearance
• Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline Security+ or other DoD 8570-compliant certification
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise systems and distributed applications
• Experience with React or other modern front-end frameworks
• Experience with automation technologies such as Ansible
• Experience with big data technologies including Airflow, Elasticsearch, PostgreSQL, Django, or similar platforms
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or other cloud environments
• Experience supporting Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning initiatives
• Experience with GIS data, computer vision, computer graphics, or CUDA programming
