Akkodis is seeking a Software Engineer for a Contract with a client in Torrance, CA (Hybrid). The ideal candidate is responsible for designing, testing, and implementing data acquisition and control applications while integrating test instruments and troubleshooting system-level software and hardware issues.

Rate Range:

$50/Hour to $60/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Software Engineer Job Responsibilities include:

Design, develop, and maintain Data Acquisition and Control Systems (DACS) for aerospace test stands and testing facilities. Program, configure, and troubleshoot PLCs to support automated control systems. Develop and integrate LabVIEW-based applications for real-time data acquisition, monitoring, and process control. Integrate and validate test instrumentation, including power analyzers, power supplies, pressure and temperature scanners, flow meters, transmitters, and actuators. Create and execute test plans to verify system functionality, performance, and compliance with technical requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to gather requirements, resolve software/hardware issues, and document system designs, installation procedures, and user manuals.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Robotics Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum 2+ years of experience in software development focused on data acquisition, automation, test systems, or process control systems. Hands-on experience with PLC programming, specifically PLC platforms. Pay Details:
