III JOB DESCRIPTION

1) Design, write, test, implement, and document solutions for assigned program modules. 2) Collaborate with and provide technical advice to Product Owners, Business Analysts, and lines of business to estimate level-of-effort, timing, and feasibility, to design new systems based on business requirements, and to optimize system and program functionality. 3) Review coding for a group of software engineers to ensure alignment with business needs, change control procedures, and Frost development standards. 4) Take action using Integrity, Caring, and Excellence to achieve all-win outcomes.

MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a directly related field of study, plus the following experience: 1) 4 years of experience in commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures associated with programming. 2) 4 years of experience in building and interfacing with Restful API(s) and in using JSON and XML formats. 3) 4 years of experience in application development using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, Bootstrap, HTML, and CSS. 4) 4 years of experience in core Java concepts, including object-oriented programming, generics, collections, multithreading, memory management, and data structures and algorithms. 5) 4 years of experience in Spring Boot ecosystem, including building RESTful APIs, SOAP Services, implementing microservices architectures with domain driven design, configuring dependency injection, and managing application properties, profiles, and lifecycle hooks. 6) 4 years of experience in test-driven development (using JUnit, Mockito), version control with Git, and use of design patterns like Singleton, Factory, and Strategy to ensure code maintainability and scalability. 7) 4 years of experience in building robust CI/CD pipelines, containerization using Docker, and orchestration via Kubernetes, Openshift. 8) 4 years of experience in integration with databases (using Spring Data JPA), messaging systems (Kafka), and security configurations (with Spring Security and OAuth2). 9) 4 years of experience in Agile environments. 10) 4 years of experience in working with relational databases including Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL. 11) 4 years of experience in object relational mapping using tools including Hibernate. Experience may be gained concurrently. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training or experience. Telecommute Position. Must reside within Texas and within commuting distance of a Frost bank branch. Various unanticipated locations throughout the state of Texas. Up to 10% domestic travel required.
