Work Arrangement:
Hybrid We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to support data migration and software development initiatives in a fast-paced Agile environment. The primary focus of this position will be the delivery of data migration topics, ensuring high-quality data is migrated from legacy systems to new systems. This will include data mapping, SQL development, technical analysis, testing, and implementation support.
IMPORTANT LOCATION REQUIREMENT
Candidates must already be local to Columbus, Ohio at the time of resume submission. Candidates who would need to relocate will not be considered due to an immediate hiring need.
Work Arrangement:
This is a hybrid positionDuring onboarding and training, expected to be onsite approximately 4 days per weekTraining is expected to last approximately 2 monthsFollowing completion of training, the position transitions to 3 days onsite and 2 days working from home per weekCandidates must be local to the Columbus, OH area when submitted
Key Responsibilities:
Analyze business and technical requirementsPerform technical analysis of new and existing systemsSupport data migration activities from legacy systemsDevelop data mapping and SQL solutionsTriage and analyze technical issues and ticketsDevelop technical design documentationPerform coding, configuration, code reviews, and peer consultationsDevelop and execute unit, system, integration, and user acceptance testingSupport defect management and resolutionSupport technical design and implementation activitiesWork with cross-functional IT and Business teamsSupport Agile delivery processesCollaborate with Product Owners and Business teams to define requirements and acceptance criteriaCreate and maintain user stories and prioritized backlogsParticipate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, demos, retrospectives, and daily scrumsResolve or escalate technical risks and issuesSupport release planning and ongoing production operationsProvide guidance and technical support to other team membersSupport DevOps, ITSM, and ITIL processes
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree5-10 years of IT experience3-5 years of application development experience in a Microsoft environmentStrong Tableau skillsStrong technical analysis skillsStrong collaboration and communication skillsAbility to structure and communicate complex technical concepts clearlyStrong problem-solving and adaptability skillsStrong prioritization and time management skillsIn-depth knowledge of Agile methodologies and practicesExperience with software development processes, architectures, and technologiesExperience with databases and common IT technologies
