Responsibilities:

Lead the design, development, and implementation of JAVA-based applications. Oversee the technical aspects of projects, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure code quality and maintainability. Identify and resolve technical challenges and roadblocks in a timely manner. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation within the team. Participate in project planning and estimation activities, providing input on timelines and resource allocation.

Mandatory Skills:

Core JAVA programming expertise. Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles. Experience with Java frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate. Proficiency in web technologies including RESTful APIs, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL. Experience with version control systems, preferably Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure. Knowledge of microservices architecture and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with Agile methodologies and project management tools. Experience in performance tuning and optimization of applications. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 5-7 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on JAVA technologies. Proven experience in a leadership role, managing development teams and projects. Strong analytical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
