Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to support and evolve a growing, AI-enabled SaaS platform within a telecommunications-focused organization. This role plays a critical part in advancing a DevOps-first culture, where engineering teams own the full software development lifecycle—from development through deployment and production support. You will join a collaborative, close-knit engineering environment consisting of 7-8 product-focused teams, each responsible for delivering high-quality, scalable solutions. As part of an organization that is actively transitioning from traditional development practices to continuous delivery, you will be instrumental in standardizing automation, enhancing cloud infrastructure, and driving modern DevOps practices across teams. Key Project Initiatives & Impact Drive the transformation toward continuous release and DevOps maturity across multiple engineering teams Scale an AI-enabled SaaS platform, ensuring reliable, efficient, and automated deployments Redesign and improve regression testing automation tools to support faster, higher-quality releases Partner with development teams to streamline deployment strategies and improve time-to-market Establish best practices for CI/CD pipelines, enabling consistent, repeatable delivery processes Support adoption of AI technologies, including agent-based frameworks and AI Foundry capabilities Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps Build and manage cloud infrastructure in Azure, ensuring scalability and resilience Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or Python Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and release cycles Provide guidance and leadership on DevOps best practices and culture adoption Support automation initiatives , including testing and infrastructure provisioning Required Skills & Experience Strong experience with cloud computing, specifically Microsoft Azure Proven ability to build and manage CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps preferred) Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Bash, Python) Experience supporting the full software development lifecycle (SDLC) Hands-on experience with automation and deployment strategies Ability to collaborate effectively across engineering teams and influence best practices Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AI/ML tools or platforms, including AI Foundry or agent-based frameworks Background in telecommunications or SaaS environments Experience working in DevOps transformation initiatives Work Environment On-site, collaborative team environment with strong cross-team engagement Standard work schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM Teams range from 4-9 engineers, with a strong emphasis on ownership and accountability Culture prioritizes mentorship, growth, and long-term employee development
