Insight Global is seeking a Software Engineer for a fast-growing industrial technology client operating at the intersection of AI and manufacturing. This engineer will work directly inside customer factory environments, owning the full software lifecycle from discovery and prototyping through deployment and enablement. The role is highly hands-on and customer-facing, blending full-stack development with real-world infrastructure challenges. Success is measured by customer impact, speed-to-value, and the ability to create reusable technical solutions that scale across future deployments.

Day-to-Day:

Work onsite inside customer factory environments to understand workflows Partner directly with operators and stakeholders to define success criteria Build full-stack, production-grade software using Python, TypeScript, React, and Postgres Deploy and maintain software on customer-owned infrastructure Instrument services, debug complex systems, and optimize performance Build reusable internal tooling (SDKs, CLIs, templates, deployment scaffolding) Collaborate with GTM, sales, and internal platform teams to support integrations Document solutions and enable customer teams for long-term adoption

Required Experience & Qualifications:

0-1 year of Software Engineering experience (new grads encouraged) Willingness to be deployed onsite at customer locations for 6-9 months at a time Strong verbal and written communication skills; daily client interaction Hands-on experience with Python and TypeScript Experience with React for front-end development Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS and/or GCP) Comfortable working across APIs, services, front-end, and data layers Nice to
