ABOUT THE ROLE

This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee Responsibilities Create documentation and revise as appropriate. software to fit specific organizational needs through scripting or programming. Customize interfaces and functionalities to enhance user experience and efficiency. Requirements Education & Years of Experience

• Bachelor's Degree and 5+years experience or Associate's Degree and 10+ years of relevant experience. Citizenship
• To be considered, you MUST be a United States (U.S.) citizen due to the federal nature of the work. Clearance
• To be considered, you MUST have an active or very recently active DOE "Q" Clearance or DoD "Top Secret" Clearance.

Must have experience with Java/C#, C++/Python/Database Developer. Must have strong scripting skills (JavaScript, Glide API, Jelly, AngularJS, or equivalent). Experience customizing

CAD/CAM/PLM/PDM

software to fit specific organizational needs through scripting or programming. Experience with version control tools such as GIT, SVN, or other code repositories. Experience working with relational databases and proficient in SQL. Experience customizing interfaces and functionalities to enhance user experience and efficiency. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills. Effective communication skills and demonstrated success in a team environment. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Desired Skills Local candidates preferred

About the Site The NNSA's Y-12 National Security Complex, in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is the nation's only source of enriched uranium nuclear weapon components and provides enriched uranium for the U.S. Navy as well as excels in materials science, precision manufacturing, and stores enriched uranium. Y-12 supports efforts to reduce nuclear proliferation risk and performs work for other government agencies ( energy.gov ) .
