Job Description

Genesis10 is currently seeking an AI/ML Engineer for a Hybrid position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity.

We are seeking an experienced AI/ML Engineer to design, develop, deploy, and support scalable AI and Machine Learning solutions that drive business value. The ideal candidate is a hands-on AI engineer with strong software development skills who can take AI/ML solutions from concept to production while ensuring scalability, governance, and business impact. This role requires strong experience in Machine Learning, Generative AI, Large Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), MLOps, and software engineering to deliver production-ready AI applications.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and deploy ML models for prediction, rmendation, forecasting, and anomaly detection

Develop Generative AI solutions using LLMs and implement RAG architectures leveraging vector databases and enterprise knowledge sources

Build and maintain MLOps pipelines for model training, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement

Develop APIs and microservices to integrate AI capabilities into enterprise applications

Collaborate with business, data, and engineering teams to translate requirements into AI-driven solutions

Ensurepliance with security, governance, responsible AI, and model risk management standards

Mentor team members and contribute to AI/ML best practices

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or a related field

10+ years of experience in AI/ML, Data Science, or Software Engineering

Strong programming skills in Python and experience with SQL

Hands-on experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, and production ML deployments

Solid understanding of machine learning algorithms, statistics, data processing, and software development best practices

Technical Skills:

s: Python, SQL (Java/JavaScript preferred)

AI/ML:

Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, Prompt Engineering

Cloud & DevOps:

Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, Git, CI/CD, Terraform

Data Technologies:

Oracle, Spark, Redis Vector DB, MongoDB

Desired skills:

Master's degree in a related field

Experience with Generative AI, LLMs (GPT, Llama, Claude), Prompt Engineering, and RAG

Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP

Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes/OpenShift, CI/CD, and MLOps platforms

Experience with vector databases, large-scale data processing, and regulated industries such as financial services
