Sr Java Engineer (Angular)#26-04715 Charlotte, NC Plano, TX On-site Contract Starts 4/17/2026 Ends 4/19/2027 Job Description Genesis10 is currently seeking a Software Engineer for a contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Charlotte, NC or Plano, TX. This is a 12+ month contract opportunity. This role is responsible for designing, developing, and implementing enterprise-grade applications to support core business functions. The engineer will work across the full software development lifecycle, building robust backend services using Java, developing responsive front-end interfaces with Angular, and integrating applications with enterprise databases. The position involves abination of new design and development, along with debugging production issues and addressing security vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement enterprise-grade applications to support business functions Build robust services using Java and Angular for microservices and enterprise services Develop responsive front-end interfaces using Angular for modern UI/UX applications Integrate applications with enterprise databases and services Work across the full SDLC (architecture, development, testing, deployment, and production support) Ensure security, scalability, and reliability of applications

Requirements:

7-10+ years of software engineering experience Strong proficiency in Java Strong proficiency in Angular Experience in web application development using Java, Angular, and SQL Strong experience developing and integrating REST APIs, enterprise services, and event-driven systems Solid understanding of software architecture, microservices, and distributed systems Experience deploying applications to cloud or on-prem platforms; familiarity with Azure, Docker, Kubernetes Strong grasp of secure coding, authentication/authorization, data protection, andpliance in enterprise environments Ability to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions Strong problem-solving skills and experience working in cross-functional teams Desired skills: Kafka Mobile experience Pay range: $55.06 - $63.06 per hour Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
