About the Role Currently the position involves providing technical assistance and troubleshooting/repair of

electronic controllers and other electro-mechanical equipment which includes frequent travel to Customer sites. Pay Range $70,000 to $85,000 annually Compensation will be based on experience, skills, and qualifications. Candidates with additional relevant degrees or certifications and extensive experience may be considered for the higher end of the salary range. Top eight skills and abilities being sought for this position: Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering/technology or equivalent, plus 1-3 years' experience with industrial VFD drives. Ability to read and understand parts lists, catalogs, price books, general factory instructions and

customer service procedures. Ability to understand nomenclature and number assignments of the

products. Ability to operate various test instruments, i.e. multimeter, oscilloscopes, strip chart recorders, etc. Must have experience with AC variable frequency controllers and servo motor controllers. Knowledge of various types of PLC's and ability to troubleshoot and modify programs. Experience with industrial fieldbus (DeviceNet, Profibus) preferred. Ability to read control wiring diagrams. products and applications. Frequently travel on Company business to any required destination domestically as well as overseas. Frequently stay overnight for extended periods of time, obtain lodging, and occasionally conduct business in the evenings, weekends, and holidays outside of normal business hours.
