As an Applications and Sales Engineer , you'll combine technical expertise with customer engagement to develop practical solutions that help our customers succeed. GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
The Applications and Sales Engineer play a critical role in bridging the gap between technical product capabilities and customer needs, ensuring tailored solutions that drive business growth. This position involves working closely with clients to understand their technical requirements and challenges, then designing and presenting customized applications that leverage the company's product portfolio. The role requires collaboration with sales teams to develop strategies that effectively communicate product value and technical advantages, ultimately supporting sales objectives. The engineer will also provide technical support during the sales process, including product demonstrations, proof of concept development, and responding to technical inquiries. Success in this role results in increased customer satisfaction, expanded market presence, and achievement of sales targets through technically sound and customer-focused solutions.
SPECIFIC TASKS AND DUTIES
1. Engage with customers to gather and analyze technical requirements and application needs. 2. Develop and present customized product solutions that address specific customer challenges. 3. Collaborate with sales teams to create effective sales strategies and technical proposals. 4. Conduct product demonstrations, proof of concept trials, and technical training sessions for customers and internal teams. 5. Provide ongoing technical support and troubleshooting assistance throughout the sales cycle. 6. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitor products, and emerging technologies. 7. Document customer interactions, technical requirements, and solution designs accurately in CRM systems. 8. Participate in trade shows, conferences, and customer meetings to promote products and gather market intelligence. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. 2. Proven experience in a technical sales or applications engineering role. 3. Strong understanding of the product technologies relevant to the company's offerings. 4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and sales teams. 5. Ability to analyze complex technical problems and develop practical solutions.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
1. Master's degree in a technical discipline or business administration. 2. Experience with CRM software and sales enablement tools. 3. Familiarity with industry-specific standards and regulatory requirements. 4. Previous experience in the United States market or working with US-based clients. 5. Technical certifications related to the company's product domain.
