Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education, technical training, and hands-on experience will be considered. Experience Requirements 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, platform operations, or distributed systems. Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting Redis or other distributed caching technologies. Experience with system monitoring, incident management, root cause analysis, patching, upgrades, and capacity planning. Knowledge of Linux, networking fundamentals, and high-availability environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience with automation and scripting using tools such as Python, PowerShell, Bash, Ansible, or similar technologies. Familiarity with cloud platforms, containerized environments, and enterprise-scale infrastructure. Strong understanding of performance tuning, scalability, and reliability best practices. Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams. Physical Capabilities Ability to remain seated and work at a computer for extended periods. Must be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and stakeholders. Ability to occasionally lift and carry equipment up to 25 pounds. Capability to respond to critical incidents and support operational needs as required. Job Duties Manage the day-to-day operation, maintenance, and reliability of enterprise caching platforms, including Redis and distributed caching technologies. Monitor platform performance, availability, and health across diverse infrastructure environments. Perform planned maintenance activities, including patching, upgrades, configuration changes, and capacity adjustments. Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve system incidents while driving root cause analysis and preventive solutions. Develop and enhance automation frameworks to improve operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and increase service consistency. Partner with engineering, application, and infrastructure teams to optimize platform performance, scalability, and uptime. Support enterprise initiatives focused on system reliability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
