Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join a team in Sinton, Texas and build reliable, scalable applications that support business operations. This role involves creating and improving both front-end and back-end solutions, partnering with users to translate needs into effective technical outcomes, and maintaining high standards for code quality and security. The ideal candidate brings strong problem-solving ability, solid experience with modern development tools, and a proactive approach to delivering well-documented, dependable software.
Responsibilities:
- Build, enhance, and support software applications and related services using contemporary development technologies such as C#, .NET, Python, and web-based frameworks.
- Investigate application issues, diagnose root causes, and implement fixes that improve stability, functionality, and performance.
- Produce clear technical documentation covering system behavior, design decisions, and implementation details to support maintainability.
- Apply secure development methods and align coding practices with established organizational standards and quality expectations.
- Manage assigned tasks independently, track commitments responsibly, and deliver work within agreed timelines.
- Collaborate with business users to gather, clarify, and translate functional needs into practical software solutions.
- Create and optimize SQL components, including queries, views, stored procedures, and triggers, with an emphasis on efficiency and appropriate design.
- Contribute to integrations and connected systems through APIs, webhooks, and other modern interface methods.
- Strengthen technical capabilities through ongoing learning and by staying current with evolving tools, practices, and engineering approaches.
